About Us
Dr. Vikas Vashisth
BDS, MDS · Periodontist & Implantologist
Dr. Vashisth holds a master's degree (MDS) in periodontics, the speciality of gums and the bone that supports your teeth. He also places dental implants, so replacing a lost tooth and keeping the gums around it healthy are handled by the same specialist.
He sees every patient personally, walks you through your X-ray on screen and sets out the options with costs. Nervous patients and children are given extra time.

Does a root canal hurt?
The tooth is fully numbed first, so most patients feel only pressure. A root canal usually relieves the pain you came in with.
Invisalign or clear aligners: which should I choose?
Both are transparent, removable trays that straighten teeth without wires. Invisalign is a premium brand with advanced planning software; other clear aligners cost less. The doctor recommends one after checking your bite.
Am I suitable for dental implants?
Most healthy adults are. We check bone levels with an X-ray and discuss conditions such as diabetes before planning an implant.
At what age should my child first see a dentist?
By their first birthday, or when the first tooth appears. Early visits make children comfortable and catch cavities in milk teeth.
Will I get a cost estimate first?
Yes. After the checkup you receive the treatment plan, number of visits and total cost in writing.
